Faith COMMUNITIES May Networking Session Videos
Thank you for taking the time to view these videos in preparation for the May FCM Faith Communities Networking Session.
The first video contains interviews of leaders of two faith communities. Judy Clarence helped form The Seekers which no longer meets but has a long and storied history. Beth Knight of The Lighthouse shares about that community: an online ministry for those who identify as female that meets in different formats and group sizes.
The second video is an interview with Charles Vogl the author of The Art of Community and Belonging. This conversation focuses on community wellbeing. The Campfire Meetings mentioned are something Google is organizing for its employees, in person and at home, to meet in small meaningful groups to build deeper relationships.
As the Faith Communities Committee member who will lead the next networking session, I hope these videos will help you begin to imagine meaningful faith communities. I look forward to seeing you on May 3rd. - Mark Bernecker
